I would add that it seems to me both the Andre trade and the Nolan draft were Nate's doing, or at least to appease Nate. Dunno.

Naaaah, couldn't be! A 2-year conflict with his PG culminated with trading the PG? Impossible. Spending every summer with Coach K resulted in accepting one of his referrals over Faried? How can this be?

This is bad talent appraisal by Buchanan, Larry Miller, and Paul Allen.

The day PA hired Larry Miller.

Exactly... That was the turning point of the season. Until then, our team believed that they were able to win every game. After that loss, we lost all ability to play with confidence. Reminds me so much of the end of the 99-00 season. That game 7 meltdown destroyed our confidence. Maybe it tells us we need a leader. Someone that can keep the team focused throughout the season. We used to have Roy, but he retired. That is the player we need.

That's right. I forgot about that goaltending call. That's the reason we aren't competing for the title, for sure

Not that we were contending, but we were competitive. A lot of our stats were impressive. After that point, we lost any good D and offense.

Stats can be extremely misleading, IMO. If anything the goaltending call brought reality to this organization early, which is a good thing

Yes don't get me wrong. As much as this season has been a dissappointment; it was a necessary evil to get management to shit or get off the pot. All the failure got Nate fired (good thing), forced management to realize they need a GM and realized that Aldridge is not a leader; but a dam good Robin.
