Oh, Baby. Up by 7 pts. with less than 2 minutes to play, the Lakers completely collapse, never scoring another point while the Thunder storm back to win the game! It's the Lakers' version of the Blazer collapse against them in the 2000 Western Conference Finals.

    How sweet it is!!!!

    well, not really.

Portland lead by DOUBLE figures, was kicking the shit out of the Lakes and was 12 minutes from going to the NBA Finals.

Not to mention they were down 3-1.

This is game 2, and they were only up by 7 with 2 minutes to go. 7 point leads with 2 minutes to go aren't uncommon.
I just can't get that excited about the Zombie Sonics winning.

Sorry you can't get excited about it, but I sure can. The Lakers didn't just lose a 7-pt. lead with less than 2 minutes to play, they missed their last 9 shots, and Kobe Bryant turned the ball over at a crucial moment. This game was a huge confidence boost for OKC, and a demoralizing loss for the Lakers. If the Lakers lose this series (and their chance at a title this year), they'll look back to this game as the turning point. That makes it as big as the Blazer loss to the Lakers in Game 7.

Blake blew it. They wouldn't be there without his Game 7 heroics but he blew this game and the series. Fisher would've hit the shot tonight though.

It cost us a championship, the Lakers aren't really serious contenders this year anyway.

I am baffled how anybody can root for the Thunder! Fuck that whole organization and its owners! Rather Miami or LA WIN!

    *It's L.A.

*Pritchard will have to eat his words: "Durant will win scoring titles, Oden will win you titles"

*I don't want to see Miami or Boston win titles. Neither can beat the Thunder IMO

How can a Blazer fan want LA to win anything, ever?

Why... Cause they wanted to bring a team to their city and they took the opportunity Seattle gave to them?

I hate rooting against the Thunder because I actually like them as a team, but to watch Durant have so much success so early is very tough to watch especially when we are reminded of "Oden vs Durant" daily. When it comes to LA vs Thunder I just try and enjoy the game, hoping both teams will loose.

Think of it this way: Durant may be the guy who will deny the Lakers a championship this year. Feel better now?
