Hey all: I'll make my rare appearance in the OT forum. I've just accepted a position with a company in New Zealand. It will probably take a couple of months to get my work visa but once that is done, I'll be headed to hobbit-land. I still plan on doing the predictions game while I am there but it may become a even more sporadic in regard to my posting of results/standings. For anyone who has been there, either to visit or for an extended period, any advice? FWIW, the position is in the Auckland area. Gramps...
I once was involved with someone in Auckland when I lived in Portland. I may have taken the prize for long distance relationships, but I don't think that helps you much.

I spent a few months in New Zealand once, but that was 30 years ago so it may not be of much help. I loved it there, nicest people in the world, really should go back. barfo
