Just spoke to a friend in LA telling me how crazy it's going to be at the Staple Center this weekend. There are Laker playoff games, Clipper playoff games and Kings playoff games all going this weekend. They are going to be shuffling teams in and out and changing the court and rink all weekend. And everything is sold out. I know there is a "hate LA" thing in Ptd, but this isn't about pumping up LA . . . more about imaging that many playoff events in a weekend happening in one arena and having choices of what to go see. Obviously if depends on getting tickets, but if you want tickets, you can find them.
Are the Kings the hottest ticket there right now? They are on a rampage. Looks like they will bully their way to a Stanley Cup.
...don't forget the final stage of the Amgen Tour of California cycling race set to finish in front of the Staples Center building Sunday morning!
He mentioned that too. Basically, unless you are going to the Staple Center, avoid that area all weekend.
