new eligibility standards

    A lot to digest. A team can only redshirt so many players as they will be under scholarship. I can foresee players jumping ship more and recruiting starting at a much earlier age. It puts more emphasis on teams cheating- which is good for the SEC.

    I also question the new rules for reasons of inner city kids or kids with learning disabilities... ones that simply can't meet these standards, but could survive a college environment in a not too difficult degree field. Some of those may now fall through the cracks.

    Interesting rule changes.
