Did the firing of SVG and Otis "my man" Smith increase the possibility that Dwight re-signs in Orlando, thus in turn increasing the possibility that deron does not re-sign with Brooklyn? all of a sudden I feel like Lloyd Chrisitmas
howard is as good as gone, and frankly, im a little disgusted with the magic for catering to him on this... although otis should have been canned anyways so who knows, whatevz
I bet D12 regrets signing the waiver in March. If he really is gone, then he just gave up a ton of money for really no reason. Yikes..... http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7690664/dwight-howard-signed-waiver-opt-orlando-magic-contract
How are they catering to him. He was a mediocre GM. And Van Gundy is the #1 Coach in the NBA that other players would LEAST like to play for in a recent survey. If anything, the team did not "cater" to Howard, and that will cause them to lose him.
Said the Masbee 5-1-12 after NY reporter claimed Deron leaning to resign with Nets: http://sportstwo.com/threads/213096...ng-with-NETS?p=2785532&viewfull=1#post2785532
how is it possible that anyone would know anything? it is not even possible to know that it is impossible to possibly know anything. henceforth, all posts that do not contain 100% pure proven fact based musings will be shunned and linked to this post as proof of their ignorance
From Sam Amick: L@kers? I don't think so. What would they trade? The only piece worth considering is Bynum and they aren't trading him for D.Will--and if they did then L*kers would look even older than Mavs. Too bad their isn't a team with cap space to sign him that has a younger version of Dirk. Hmmmm. Having said that, if I were Mr. Cupcheck I would be on the phone to Orlando pushing the Bynum for Howard trade, and then see if you leverage Gasol to get D.Will on. I think their cap situation will prevent it though.
I was under the impression the new CBA would have made it very hard. Kobe 28mil Dwight 20 mil Dwill 17 mil
They could do it if they can turn Gasol into Dwill (not sure how). They pay a very big tax penalty for it, but it could be possible.
