You know, spending time around the people on this board clouded my overall opinion of most blazer fans, because in reality most fans don't know shit about basketball or the NBA. At first glance we should expect most fans to know what a salary cap is and what bird rights are, but it wouldn't be the first time someone doesn't know some very basic things about free agency. Have you ever talked to some random person about the Blazers/NBA and you feel like you're talking to a five year old? How often do you end up in a conversation with someone that actually has intelligent opinions about basketball?
^^ Good point. For example when people tell me what players the Blazers should get... with the mind set that we can just go out and get each and every player we want. And it seems like the average fan only thinks about the now, doesnt take into account future seasons.
