You stay away from Syracuse players the same way you leave Florida QBs & WRs alone...some systems just don't translate.

So it's because of Jim Boeheim?

What kind of system do they have?

Flynn looked like a solid PG prospect @ 'Cuse but in the NBA he's barely a fringe player and I'm not sure he's even that.

Looking back exactly five years ago the hype around Oden was amazing. As good as Anthony Davis is -- he's nowhere near the hype of Oden and Durant:

    Marshall injured worse then thought...........

Kendall Marshall is nearly fully recovered from a broken wrist suffered during the NCAA tournament.

Marshall revealed that his right arm injury was more extensive than originally believed.

"My wrist is almost 100 percent," Marshall said. "What people didn’t know is that I also fractured my elbow. That’s been the toughest thing for me to deal with, still not being able to go full contact. Hopefully, I’ll be ready to go by the Combine."

Marshall is training for the draft at the IMG Basketball Academy in Florida.

At least it's not his knee.

Still, he's BY FAR the best PG prospect in this draft.

You don't pass on Marshall because of Nolan fucking Smith. If we do ultimately go the route of S&T for Batum, I'd try to get Smith included to get him off our cap.

Marshall's injury was on his non-shooting hand. I'm not too concerned.

Next stop in the draft workout tour: Oakland to see Damian Lillard this morning along with a couple of NBA teams

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
Here's video of Terrence Ross on Friday. Looked great in 4-on-4 against Austin Daye, Rasual Butler & Arnett Moultrie http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7974075

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
Lillard going through one of the hardest workouts I've ever seen. Grueling. Zero questions about what kind of shape he's in.

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
Lillard hitting just about every shot here despite being run into the ground by trainer.

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
Great workout today for @Dame_Lillard Such a hard worker, Great shooter, Good athlete. Strongly believe he's a Top 10 pick.

That interview with Terrence Ross was great. I think he'll be better than projected

Yeah I agree as well. As discussed this draft has few stars but it is deep. 5-20 is a crap shoot. There is probably about 10 guys who you could argue are on the same level. Good draft to have multiple players. Few will help next year though.

I think we should try to snag more picks honestly. I know this isn't the way that Paul wants to go, but unless we are either able to trade for a star player or sign Williams, I don't see how we're going to retool on the quick. I'd much rather try to go the route of OKC and put together a young nucleus that can grow together.

There are a few players that you can pick up late in the first round that may turn out to be solid players:

    *Evan Fournier
    *Moe Harkless

But if we went the rout of adding picks I'd look for another late-lotto to mid-first and snag a player who slips a bit.

Lillard is a beast! Can't wait to see who goes first between him and Marshall. Marshall's game doesn't seem like it will stand out in a 1 on 1 situation. His strength is his court vision. Wonder how this will affect him?

One reason why Brandon Roy looked rather mediocre in pre-draft workouts. He didn't stand out in these drills and one-on-one, two-on-two, etc.
