They just happened to be in a lot of ISO's because Leonard couldn't guard Valanciunas ~ in both games.

With the right coaches around him he could be good, otherwise you're taking a risk with a lotto pick on the second coming of Robert Swift.

Btw, who is running these workouts?

The last few years wasn't Kanales the guy who ran pre-draft drills?

How is it Larry Miller's fault?

    He's black!

    oh wait, that's the President.

He's an easy target, and a scapegoat.

Not that there aren't issues with him, or that he's not a bit smarmy.

Your own example disproves nothing. That was a pre-injury Sabonis. There's no reason to believe he wouldn't have continued to dominate Robinson otherwise.

If players developed in an identical pattern, sure.

I'd rather not think about Zeller at all, a total "meh/blah" IMO

I would imagine we could move our 11th pick for Collison in a second....so it's not exactly a compelling argument. That said, I DO like Collison, I just am hoping for someone with more upside in the lottery.

    Re: Blazers draft workouts......

    really?

trade the 11th pick for soon to be 32 year old, never averaged over double figures, and averaged 4 ppg this last season Nick Collison?

The Zombie Sonics would trip over themselves to trade for the 11th pick in the draft if it cost them Nick Collison.

It wouldn't be hard to find someone with more "upside" in the lottery.

I don't think he was advocating trading the 11th pick for Collison..

Meyers only played 13 minutes, they played only once, and he only had 1 foul. Otherwise, spot on! Looks more like US went small, and won the game.

Even though it would be a bad trade, you're selling Collison way short. He's the ultimate glue guy that makes everyone around him better, and is definitely not someone to be judged by PPG.

I like that they have those two top 20 centers coming in on the same day. I'm assuming they will go head to head and I like that also; that they were both willing to do that. I don't like guys who shy away from that.

Agreed, that's why I prefaced it with "even though it would be a bad trade," haha.

    A whole bunch of ugh....

Joseph is mildly intriguing ....I guess....

I wouldn't even consider drafting Zeller or Leonard at #11....but with Chad running the show and last year's pick of "let's draft a backup PG" Nolan Smith...Why am I not surprised??

Those 2 bigs are considered lottery picks this years people. I don't want 'em, but they will go early.

No white American centers in the lottery. You have to bring em in for a look though

Truncated workout for Drummond. Coming off a bout of food poisoning. Nice guy. Working hard. Has crazy upside if he can put it all together

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
Drummond has lost 22 pounds since ending the season. He's at 268 now. He's very quick laterally for a big guy. VERY QUICK

    Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider
