    Trade up!

Beal/Robinson/MKG are all ready to come in and contribute immediately.

    Excellent!

I just hope they don't trade away the picks. At least not #6.

If the Blazer pick up his QO, they are insane. I like JJ, but we need all the cap room available for free agents and trades. This is a pivotal summer and I'd hate to see them tie up resources on a bench player.

I don't mind trading up, but aren't all three of those guys a little risky? I mean the whole lottery is risky but 2 of these three are undersized for their position and the third can't shoot. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them fell to us at 6. In your opinion are these three really that much better than what we could get at 6th?

I would trade up with the 6th and another piece to get Robinson. He's going to reach his potential. He won't ever be a superstar, but he'll be a really damn good player. Move Hickson for an asset and take Lamb at 11 or move the 11th plus the 2nds for him.

Maybe, but my point was we have his rights. If we want him he is ours. He is a better back up PF then we have had for quite a few years and allows LMA to play more center. Picking him up gives us another option, one we got for nothing.

Beal at 6 would be great. It all depends on how bad/good Harrison Barnes looks at workouts.

I think we'll sign Hicks in the end. He'll wait for us. The line of FA starters willing to come here is short and we'll only get one or two, with money remaining for Hicks.

Comes down to if Cleveland wants Drummond or not. Only team before the Blazers that would select him imo.

I agree. I hope they are right about this: "Barnes is a perfect fit for a Sacramento team in need of a small forward and strong character/maturity to help with team chemistry"

Would they go for another SG? Not as it stands, but maybe if they traded Evans.

I hate the idea of Drummond @ #2 because you want a surefire player at that spot. But at #6, he's definitely worth the risk. Lamb dropping below 10 is unfathomable to me.

I think we're in great position to trade up.

    That should be option #1.

We aren't gonna get up to 1, and outside of Davis, there is no definite star in this draft. I'd rather trade out for someone like Rondo or Steph Curry (I know he's not on the market, but w/e).

So as it turns out, GW was very good for Ptd.

He came to the Blazers for very little, gave a boost of energy to the Blazer fans with all his energy and style of play A fan favorite when the team needed it as Roy faded off into the sunset. He starting getting lazy and ineffective in a year the Blazers suck and gets traded for the #6 pick.

A successful combination of moves with GW. Wasn't as big of a fan at the end (huge last year), but thank you GW for the memories and the #6 pick.

Sidenotes: No organization and fans should have to endure being the worst team in NBA history and not end up with the top pick . . . who gets credit for the Wallace trade . . . I could see Cho wanting the 6 and 11 for the 2 . . . damn I sure wish NJ won the coin flip with Sacramento.
