Lots of places offering free doughnuts today! I know that won't mean a much to a lot of you but it should keep HCP out of the house all day if any of you want to go visit his wife.
We have a doughnut place down here that is ridiculously yummy. This morning before work I stopped to by some doughnuts for the house, and also some snow balls, which is pretty much shaved ice with flavoring. I got the birthday cake flavor with sweet condensed milk.... Oh how I love the south for their food
Not a huge doughnut fan. Actually, don't huge doughnut fans tend to be huge? I prefer cookies, especially the ones I make. Currently designing my niece's Bat Mitzvah cake. Finally nailed down she wants yellow cake (with loads of butter & my homemade vanilla extract) with chocolate icing. I think a chocolate lattice around the sides and clusters of chocolate roses and leaves in the corners.
