GW was truly a disappointment. Guys like Felton and Crawford had low expectations coming in, but Wallace was a guy that I had been wanting on the team for a long time.

    Lies.

Brooklyn would love the 6th pick right now.

6th+Brooks+Lopez for Dwight is the kind of trade that would keep D-Will and even Gerald Wallace in town.

LMAO, talk about delusional, it was an awful trade but I thank them for it and if they want to keep deluding themselves its all right with me, maybe we can fleece them again? lol

guys who rely on atleticism like GW can go downhill fast once it goes, and him being 30/31 is about the time and we witnessed it, we did good

They would have the exact same ability to sign Gerald Wallace on July 1 if they never did the trade and had retained the #6 pick. He is an unrestricted free agent and able to sign with them if he was a member of the Nets or a member of the Blazers.

If anything the trade hurts the Nets because Wallace can demand more money and the Nets will be inclined to overpay to keep him. They don't want to let him walk for nothing and then have to admit the trade was a terrible mistake.

The trade of Gerald Wallace for the #6 pick was just about the only thing that went well after around 9 games into the season.

Wait, what about....nope, that's all I got. It was the only thing.

    King's full of shit.

The Nets are one of the worst teams in the league talent-wise. They need any help they can get. A player on a rookie contract that can make an impact is helpful, especially if they're trying to re-sign Williams and target Dwight.

    Horrible move.
