Per Twitter -- Some team measured Perry Jones' max vertical reach at 12'4"

    That's JaVale McGee/Shaq/Gay territory.

Factor in distance, angles, etc -- Robinson looks like he's going to measure out at around 6'8-ish w/shoes:

The good and the bad of Andre Drummond. Really good breakdown.

Sounds like Lillard is killing it in workouts.

I know S2 has a lot of Lillard fans.

Go for the homerun and pick PJIII and Rivers.

A homerun would be trading up for MKG or Beal.

I really don't see the hype in either of those players. Sure MKG is a great player, but I don't see him as being the team changing player he is being out to be. And I don't get the hype of Beal either. Don't get me wrong, either player would be a good pick with the picks we have, but I wouldn't trade up for them.

More people seem to be coming around to this.

Good players, but their ceilings aren't that high.

MKG probably has a little higher ceiling, but his jumper is so damn ugly.

And like Shawn Marion, he could be a stat sheet stuffer with an ugly jumpshot.

Marion was a freak athlete. I don't see that in MKG at all. There's a reason why they called Marion "The Matrix". The guy could jump out of the gym.

    Like it....

Jones is an athletic freak with size who needs to work on his motor and his aggressiveness

Rivers is a finisher\big shot maker who needs to work on his ability to play with other players

    both are homerun picks....

Somebody explain to me what the term "home run" pick means?

Just curious what picking those players is being compared to hitting a home run? And to be honest, I only work about 5 MLB games a summer. Baseball isn't my forte' FAMS!

It means if you hit on thier upside you have an all star caliber player...a legit #1, #2 or #3 guy on your team....

I think both of those guys have high upside possibility....and both have very good NBA qualities about them and no real red flags, that I have been able to find...

Jones, by all accounts is a good kid, hard worker...just needs to work on not floating in games, being aggressive...That can be taught\developed IMO, heck it was taught with LA, who had similiar issues....but he has freakish wingspan apparently, great size, athleticism and skill...IMO worst case he is like a Nic Batum, solid rotation player, likely starter...best case he is a perennial all star...I would take that risk....

Rivers has an NBA skill that IMO is very important and lacking on POR, the ability to create shots, mainly for himself right now, but again as he plays with better players he will learn how to look to create for others as well....The kid oozes confidence and has a history of delivering big shots when his team needs them...he is not afraid to be that guy to take the shot when your team desperately needs it and he has the skill to make the shot...I'll be curious to see his size\measureables...but I think he is being severely underrated right now. I think he is a higher risk boom\bust type of guy, but his NBA pedigree and confidence certainly help alleviate some of that concern for me...

MKG has a high ceiling, at least more than he's getting credit for here.

At the age of the average HS senior he was the emotional leader of that team and has a very high basketball IQ. If he stayed one more year I think he'd be in the running for the #1 pick next year with teammate Nerlens Noel.
