Nice post, that is exactly what I meant by my response. We aren't in the position to draft guys who will be "solid" in a few years and play spot starting minutes. We need players who have the ability to come in right away and make an impact.

My guess is NOLA doesn't draft another big with their 10th pick.

Lillard to N.O. at #10 or Tor at #8?

Then why work these guys out? Henson would seem like a duplicate, but he maybe BPA at that point. Maybe they feel lucky getting a great PF prospect at 1, so they want a safe pick center to go with him?

David Aldridge has been so bad the past few years.

Of "possible" targets at #11 he included Fab Melo.

Ross could easily turn out to be the best SG in this draft.

That was a pretty good piece on his strengths and weaknesses. He rarely got to the line (too bad too since he could actually hit them unlike Wroten) and every time he drove he seemed to settle for a pull up jumper. I think working on his handles and adding a bit more muscle could be the difference between being just a good shooter in the league and a great scorer.

I honestly wouldn't mind taking a chance on Mayo.

Wow...... did Minny get the better of that trade or what!

They used Fez Hammersticks' comparison for Thomas Robinson: Al Horford

Why? We have enough roster fodder as it is.

Good comparison. I missed that one from you. I still think a cross between Milsap and Faried
