I agree that both Toronto and N.O. would likely trade their #8 and #10 picks for Lowry, guy is solid with a very cheap 6-7 mil contract for next 2 years,

I doubt they'd let Lowery go straight up for a pick.

I like Rudy Gay, but he isnt worth the contract he got. So I say no.

Exactly, and Memphis is a great example of a team hamstringing itself with a new CBA loomimg, needing to sign players that are FA's or RFA's and not being able to because of the loominng high Lux Taxes IMO they will get very little for Rudy Gay because of his contract. Capspace is going to only get more valuable, especially next yr and those following. The more I see and think about this the more I become a proponet of not getting into bidding wars or overspending this offseason for FA's, we all want to win now and not wait, but having a 3-4 plan with the new CBA in minds could reap very large benefits.

Nah I'm not a fan of Gay. He plays 0 defense. If we are going to use our #6 to grab a player; then why not Igs? He can play in a team system, shoot, score in the paint, defend and get to the foul line.

Igs is another guy whi IMO makes too much in this new CBA and if we are going to pay a big salary (15 mil next 2 yrs) like he has I want a number one option, he's not close to that, another NO THX

I think I'd do this trade. I am a huge Rudy fan, that man can ball.

you are IMO just not considering his contract and how overpaid he is, especially as this new CBA's effects are felt

Wait how much is he making? Oh shit I didn't know that! I thought his contract was maxed at 13 mil. Yeah nevermind.
