Is there any chance that Olshey decides if they can't get Williams or even Nash that he may try to just go young this year and make a run at Chris Paul next year. I would normally say Paul would never come to Portland but with Olshey already having that relationship with him I might actually be convinced it might be possible (not probable). I know Olshey talked about forming a relationship with CAA, which represents Paul and a lot of other big name free agents.

Maybe.... We were able to steal away Derek Anderson from the Spurs because he had a relationship with Trader Bob. Unfortunately it didn't work out well.

Pritchard was THE WORST at negotiating, whether trades, extensions, or his own job. Cho was just a computer analyst. Olshey has very easy acts to follow.

So yes to the thread question.

Yes--Susan Lucci, Erika Sleazak, and Kelly Monaco will all be attending Blazer games regularly now.

He has a good relationship with some important people, so it can't hurt

Isn't it embarassing when they try to show stars during timeouts in Portland? The biggest Portland usually gets is some one from Leverage or a U of O football player. By the way how do those players afford front row seats, I know I've seen Kenyon Barner there at least a couple of times up front.

I think Olshey will help, but I personally dont think drawing big name players to Portland is as much of an issue as others here do.

Andre Miller is probably the biggest name in awhile. Sad but true.

Portland is a great place for most guys once they are here, but FA's that matter usually don't look twice at Portland

If you have cap space and are willing to pay a big salary and the team has potential to win, then most players will come regardless of the GM.

The very top players will decide on Money, Team, and City.

Either way the GM makes little difference.

MONEY is the biggest factor, followed by teammates, then market. Yes there are exceptions

It could have, if we'd had Oden then.

Oden could have cured Derek's toothache.
