I'm starting to think that our best bet would be a Robinson/Lillard draft and hopefully find a way to turn our 2nd rounders into a late teens pick so we can get the versatile big man, Andrew Nicholson. Slam dunk.
If it was a choice between getting Bayless or Telfair back, I would pick Telfair without blinking an eye.
I don't see Robinson slipping like that, but it would be great if it happened. I would even take a Drummond/Lillard draft. What I'm afraid of is a Beal/Zeller draft.
In a draft like this where the talent level is such a crapshoot, I think it will be really easy to move up a couple spots. Maybe trade for Toronto's pick and take Lillard. Seriously, guys being picked 6-15 are so interchangeable that you can pick out of a hat and be just as accurate at prognosticating where they are going to go. Nicholson is going to be a huge steal for some team.
sounds like it too. What comes to mind when you hear blazers? blank stare. Uhh...uhh..really? This is like a job interview. Do you watch the NBA at all?
I've been saying Beal over Lamb since Day 1 in this thread. I was mainly chastized for it. Now people are souring on Lamb.
On a side note, did you see both Rivers, which makes sense, and Sullinger said they thought of Nolan Smith.
I wouldn't say 6-15, I'd say 7-15. Other than a few mentions of Lillard at 6, pretty much everything I've seen has the exact 6 players filling out the top-6 (Davis, MKG, Thomas, Barnes, Beal, and Drummond).
Chris Haynes @ChrisBHaynes Video: Talked w/ Uconn's Jeremy Lamb. Knows nothing bout #Blazers. He said "who's that light-skinned guy." C 4 urself |
Lamb didn't sound that bad to me...I laughed though, hey at least he was honest and didn't pucker up b\c he didn't know who the players were.... "that light skinned dude" lol
