So, who will be there at #6? I think we have to take BPA, but who do you think it will be? Here's the order (you can cut and paste):
    1. New Orleans
    2. Charlotte
    3. Washington
    4. Cleveland
    5. Sacramento
    6. Portland.

Obviously, #1 is Anthony Davis, so maybe all you have to do is the next 5.
    I say:
    2. Andre Drummond (explanation to follow)
    3. Thomas Robinson
    4. Harrison Barnes (I'm going with the rumors, plus the fact that there's too much backlash right now)
    5. Hm. Tough one. Petrie usually surprises. A lot depends on what they think Evans is. Is he a SG? In which case they don't take Beal.
I'm going with MKG, just because they want to toughen up and forge a team out of their disparate knuckleheads.

Which would mean Beal would be available to us at #6. Who do YOU think will drop?

(Explanation of Drummond: at this point you swing for the fences. Yes, they have Biyombo, but he can't play many minutes right now. Plus, Charlotte's plan is obviously to suck for a while, so you can afford to take the high-ceiling guy over the more-ready guy. If I'm wrong, they take Robinson.)
(Plus, it's tradition to take a bust pick at #2. This is Hasheem Thabeet mk. 2.)

    1. Davis
    2. Robinson
    3. MKG (I think the Beal to Washington idea is based on the notion that MKG will go #2. If Robinson leapfrogs him, I think WAS forsakes Beal for BPA)
    4. Barnes
    5. Drummond

It's tough to argue with that list ... The wildcard is Drummond (god I hope the Blazers don't have decide whether or not to take him).

Hm. Wall cannot shoot: can the Wiz afford to have two wing players who can't shoot? Don't you need to pair Wall up with someone like Beal or Barnes?

It seems quite likely. Although it's often the case that centers either go in the top 3 (like Thabeet) or fall to the second round (like DeAndre Jordan).
At that point I hope that the Blazers are fielding calls for the pick...

Anyone know what Chad Ford's current top 6 look like?

I think it will change b\t 2-5 as the draft gets closer but I see it right now as

    1) Davis

    2) Robinson (whether this is CHA or another team)

    3) Beal (I think WAS is locked in on him)

    4) Barnes (I am buying the CLE\Barnes love fest)

    5) Drummond (SAC is looking like the lynchpin in the draft as far as POR is concerned, I think they will go big and upside of Drummond over MKG)

I think he looks like another notoriously underwhelming sixth overall pick -- Martell Webster

Are you saying MW wasn't a monster reach? Barnes >> Webster from everything I've read.

I agree as well. Barnes will be a pretty damn solid pro, IMO

I'm not saying I have a crystal ball, but the guy just looks like a finesse jump shooter with above average NBA size and slightly below average NBA athleticism. Maybe he doesn't have the confidence issues that plagued Martell, but I think he's going to end up being a pretty average player.

Harrison Barnes passes the eye test for an NBA player, but his stats don't jump out as a sure bet. He only shot 44% fg and 36% 3pt. He averaged 1.1 apg with 1.9 tpg. He could be good, but I think he's a risky pick, especially in the top 5.
