no no no, all we need is to outsource the delivery of ups boxes to malaysia, that way our economy will prosper hopefully soon, we can get rid of all these unions so we can be a 3rd world country ourselves, and finally be competitive again
Some drivers and sorters apparently make $100k, but as commerce continues to diminish, either wages will come down, or there will be more layoffs. I have no problem with UPS drivers making that much bank. My neighbor is a 25-year UPS vet, and they just bought a sweet new Lexus. Stimulates the economy.
I have no problem with it either, but it is absurd to argue that UPS can be competitive without the "nerds" and analysts running the show and just rely on drivers and sorters.
I always send my next day shit via FedEx. to me, it just seems more reliable. they seem to do international shipping better.
i just think its funny "oh jeeze WHERE will we find people to carry boxes around" when fact is, nerds dont want to carry boxes, so they will all be fighting over the nerd jobs, driving the nerd job salaries down, until people are going to deliveryman college so they can make a REAL living
I don't think the average joe can sweat it out making peanuts in the warehouse. Like physical labor, ya know.
sorting boxes? yeah. I would die of boredom. but you can't send the dope ass fucking emails like I can.
I completely agree with you on that. I do find it funny that a package monster is bemoaning the logistics team, and laughing when he thought it was they who lost their jobs. Every job matters, and UPS is a good company.
i think it is funny that when someone who works hard for a living makes alot of money, all the lazy people call it unfair once again, teachers, firefighters, and blue collar workers are ruining america
