At times, he felt as if he almost lived there. Fisher could get that opportunity this summer as he will be a free agent and the Knicks are looking for a low-cost veteran point guard to join Jeremy Lin and serve as tutor. They could do a lot worse than Fisher, who seeks his sixth ring. If the union doesn't win its Lin arbitration case to restore his Bird rights, the Knicks will only have their $2 million lower exception and $1.4 million veteran's minimum. With that amount to spend, it could lead them to Fisher, a boon since signing with the Thunder in March to back up Russell Westbrook."
