Marlins' Bonifacio Out Until After All-Star Break

    "Emilio Bonifacio had the stitches removed from his surgically repaired left thumb Tuesday, but he has considerable healing and rehab to do before returning to the Marlins' lineup.

    Manager Ozzie Guillen said he doesn't expect Bonifacio to return to action until after the All-Star break next month.

    Bonifacio injured the thumb on a head-first slide on a stolen-base attempt in Cleveland last month, and had surgery May 25 to repair a ligament. The prognosis was he would miss 4-6 weeks."
