"Greg Hardy is a little bit different, but that's why fans love him so much. Whether it's engaging fans on Twitter, tearing down goalposts, or embracing his Kraken nickname (which, it should be mentioned started here on CSR) he quickly became a player we all continue to watch and hope can develop into an elite pass rusher; a process that is still ongoing. Two days ago Hardy took to Twitter to give a quick synopsis on where he's at this off-season: "299 w/ 14% body fat ya boy put n in nothing but work" Initially most thought this had to be a typo. If Hardy had truly put on 23 lbs of lean muscle mass since the end of the 2011 season, not only would be over twenty pounds heavier than Charles Johnson, but it didn't really jive with Ron Rivera's discussion a few weeks ago in which he said Hardy was playing a little heavy in 2011, and he had slimmed down. If Hardy was accurate then he's in almost uncharted territory being the size of a 3-technique defensive tackle, with the speed of a defensive end. Even at his heaviest Julius Peppers never touched 299 lbs, and he's taller than Hardy." Read more: http://www.catscratchreader.com/2012/6/13/3082834/carolina-panthers-greg-hardy-weight
