The NBATV documentary said the Dream Team played at the Rose Garden in 1992 for the qualifiers. But we all know the Rose Garden didn't open til 1995, right? Oops! It had to have been the MC.
shaq, mourning, horry, tracey murray... one of these things is not like the other...one of these things does not belong...
I saw the US vs. Panama game. I went to the draft too. I remember my friend being pissed that the Hawks took Adam Keefe instead of Harold "baby Jordan" Minor.
I've got a bunch of those games on VHS. This makes me want to convert them to MP4 when I get home......
says the guy who acts like he doesn't know anything about technology.... (and yes, I know you work in editing/film so duh, you know how to do that)
I can't remember which game I went to,I will have to dig out the ticket stub. But I had just gotten married, bought a house, and lost my job. But I still paid big money for two good tickets. As I recall it was a lottery style ticket purchase. I spent the whole game explaining to my wife who everyone was, but it was a great experience. The fans went wild every time Clyde did anything. Man that team had instant chemistry. Very fun to watch.
Dang I'd be very interested in getting copies of those! I was at the Panama game too. Went with my mom, the place went nuts when Drexler checked into the game. Gosh hard to remember to much back then, don't even think I was in middle school yet.
It was the Tournament of the Americas. I went -- it was really a lot of fun to watch the Dream Team. But, Drexler was hurt and didn't play.
