How worried are you about competition between the two or jealousy? Given them any talks beforehand or do you avoid to keep form planting the seed?

There is no jealousy in my family

I have used this quote with my kids their whole lives, and I believe they listened to it

I agree with that statement, but do you really think teenagers are not commonly insecure?

    I've always thought so

I tend to have a lot of quotes from Wooden and Holtz because I coach, but a few others slip in as well

I think they are in general, but my philosophy is to be the best you that you can be. Everything else will take care of itself

I have a teenage daughter who is average looking, unathletic, and is an introvert. But she has a lot of friends that normally don't hang out with people like her. I feel it's because she is the best her, she can be. She shows her sense of humor, incredible artistic ability, and outstanding taste in music.

    Football update

All three kids made the white team (1st team, this is Texas remember)

My oldest son cracks me up because he is about as athletic as I am now, after multiple surgeries and such. But he knows his job, and will always give 1000%. He will play offensive guard

My youngest son likes to knock the shit out of people, so he was a no brainer. He will play middle lb or strong safety

My new son also made the first team and was one of the fastest kids on the team. He will probably play running back
