Well, say goodbye to Allen. All indications are that he is done in Boston. Garnett has hinted at retirement, as well as Pierce. If Garnett keeps playing, it's hard for me to see him playing anywhere other than Boston.
So there was a rumor at the trade deadline... Bulls would have sent Deng and Boozer to Boston for Pierce and Garnett. You like that deal? Deng needs surgery so he's going to miss some of the start of the season. Boozer's pretty solid. Pierce and Garnett would have given the Bulls a one-year shot for the title, maybe two, but they're young enough to build around Rose again after those guys' contracts expire. To late now, though. Thoughts?
