Which begs the question, Why would POR take both Lillard & Waiters? I don't think they would....and I would much rather have Waiters than Lillard....

For those who think rivers is a gem, I think he is going to have a real hard time at the next level Due to some of his metrics.
He had the worst lane agility of all sg's in the first round that were measured. Beal, lamb, frournier and wroten.
He had the second worst 3/4 court sprint with Fournier in last.
He is tied for shortest wingspan with Waiters

I cound be wrong, but that scares me. I know he was a top recruit, but when I watched him play he did not impress. I think he will be a bust.

I think they would be a better version than of Ellis and Curry. Lets go back to just having 2 guards instead of a designated PG and SG. Multiple attacking players. Since it is so hard to find a good true PG.

I'm with you Blaze, I can't see them taking both. I think their main focus is a proven PG, a young big, and a young guard; in that order.

How much are you guys willing to OVER pay for a proven PG? Because to get Dragic we have to pay big bucks. 10-12 million a year. Supply and demand.

I posted an insider tidbit in another thread. Chad Ford says according to most GM's, Robinson, Barnes, Beal, MKG and Drummond are in the next tier below Davis

Personally I never want to overpay for a FA. I also didn't want to draft Webster or Telfair, so clearly what I want doesn't mean much to the organization!

If CLE takes Barnes here, like is rumored, Drummond will be there at #6.

This is why think POR needs to work SAC @ #5 and CLE @ #4 to get one of Robinson, Beal, Barnes or MKG....I think they could possibly do it without having to give up the #11 in the deal...Maybe use some of thier cap space to take on a bad contract (Salmons from SAC has been rumoured) or throwing a player (Freeland, Claver, Smith, E-Will, Babbitt) there way or buying a 1st and sending it there way, future pick or just cash....POR did this to get LA (Khryapa) and Roy (cash)....

Bucher said Cho is looking to trade down for multiple picks, the opportunity is there if Paul is willing to give up both the #6 and #11.
