Talk about a nice kid. This guy seems to be so well liked by so many people. He is constantly giving to kids as well. I for one, starting right now, will never say another bad thing about him. It's not his fault we selected him too high. He busts his behind, and I for one am hoping he is a Blazer for life, including coaching or front office some day.
I like him and think he'll be alright. Oh yeah, in before people make jokes about you adopting him when he bounces out of the league.
I have always been a fan of his, and still have confidence in him to be a good player for us. He needs to be more confident in himself, and as he said, look to score slightly more, instead of trying too hard to be a "pure" pg. Seems to be the same issue Bayless had here with Nate, in thinking too much, instead of just playing.
Ha. Outstanding. His rookie scale contract is more than I will make for many, many, many, many, many years.
This is disappointing. With all your creativeness when it comes to Nate, Felton and lets not forget Crawford (and the rest), we can't look forward to a NoShot Smith or something like that all next season.
Not at all. Honest. Great kid, and I really want him to do well. You will never hear a bad word from me about him
Still mad about Bayless. Smith looks to be more of a combo guard than a PG. His PER, while still poor was a lot better than it was as a PG. I think he can be a defensive sub that won't lose games for you, and good teams need that.
I have nothing against Nolan. I do have something against Nate or whomever for drafting him ahead of an obviously better prospect. I think Nolan is a decent player and probably a decent person. I've like him since pre-season. I don't know about 'Blazer for Life' status though, LOL. I expect he'll make a fine backup.
It's no only character, it's that he also has skill. Nate has character, but that doesn't mean he can coach. It's the whole, and not the sum.
Props to the state of Texas! Looks like the first thing they do when placing foster kids with a new family is put the adults in the house on a heavy dose of happy drugs.
In fairness to the state of Texas being accused of giving happy drugs to foster parents, I started these before the foster kids
