Chris Sheridan lost any credibility he may have had. Rice made him look like an idiot.

    Was it a Drummond rant?

Sheridan went on about how the Nets wanted to pick Cousins instead of Favors but didnt, eventually traded favors for williams and now could lose williams. so they should of drafted coousins. But that had nothing to do with Drummond, which is what Sheridan was trying to compare too...

    very odd

He said Portland had to take Drummond if he was there at 6, because big guys are hard to come by. But then he says Portland had to make up for their mistake of Drafting Oden over Durrant. Isn't that contradicting himself?

Rice pointed out Memphis choosing a center over talent (Thabeet) simply because they didn't have one , and Sheridan got flustered, and started babbling about NJ drafting Character over Cousins and just was all over the place. He didn't sell his website very well.

Although it won't happen, trade #11, and the 2nd round picks for #5, and throw in Jamal Crawford (I read somewhere he could be traded if he un-opts out..wait, reality called, he won't opt out).

Ok, seriously though, trade #11, maybe a player (Williams? Smith? Matthews?) for #5. And then promise Sacramento to lose a few games next year.

Or maybe, trade next years pick (top X protected)....

Oooh...that picture of Stephen A Smith is making me craze cheese Puffs!

Wow the old Duck assist (Dunlap) is the new coach of Charlotte? He never got a major head coach job in College. I assume that was a Jordan move and not a "Cho Choice". Damn they are one cheap franchise.

    Hmm.

#5 and Salmons for #11, Wes, 3 million cash, rights to Freeland and Claver, both seconds? Is that enough? Maybe an additional 1st in 2015?

Sounds like a perfect assistant coach hire. He was a great recruiter.

Just watched the encore broadcast and I really get the sense that Mike Rice thinks Drummond = Thabeet.

We all know offensively Drummond is a huge project

And then you factor in if Drummond really loves the game or not

I can see where Rice is coming from

The only question mark with Drummond is his motor and desire to play. I'm sure the Blazers have a good idea where he is on that, and draft night we will know too.

I love, love, love the idea of getting 5 for 11, but have a hard time seeing it happening.

Those are both huge question marks to have.

That would be crazy good. The first six or seven players in this draft is where it's at.
