Rafael Cavalcante submitted Mike Kyle via guillotine choke in 33-seconds at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier in May but a failed drug test by Cavalcante means the result of the match has been overturned by the California State Athletic Commission. "Feijao" has been fined $2500, suspended for a year, and his win over Kyle changed to a no-contest because his post-fight urine sample tested positive for marijuana, a banned substance.

Debate rages over whether marijuana should be considered a PED. However, there is no question that it is a banned substance that most athletic commissions test for and as such fighters are responsible. Nick Diaz is currently serving a similar one-year suspension for having marijuana metabolites in his sample.

Turns out early reports were wrong and he actually tested positive for stanozolol, which is worse.
