It's in NJ this year and I've moved back to NYC. It dawned on me that I could go. Has anyone been to a draft before? Is it boring? Exciting? Do I need to buy a ticket in advance? Also, if I did go, anyone in the area want to go with me?
I've gone when it was in MSG. This is how it is, we basically waited at like 9am for tickets. long ass line and they run out so you should be there early. i think we probably waited 2 hours to get our tickets. then you have to return and line up again at like 5pm, wait an hour, then basically its a free for all for seats. that was quite some time ago (Yao Ming draft). Honestly, I would want to be next to a computer and the TV to watch the draft as you don't get the rumors, breaking news, etc as fast.
Only if you videotape Stephen A. "Stephen aaaaaaa, Stephen aaaaaaaaaa, we're coming for you Stephen A!"
Speaking of your new neck of the woods, I have a joke.... This guy and chick were really making out in the back seat of his car. She pulls back, looks at him with with a filthy look and moans, "Oh baby, kiss me where it smells". So he drove her to New Jersey.
I don't know, KingSpeed. Don't the Blazers lose every game you go to? So if you go to the draft will their picks turn out to be busts? Better consider this carefully.
Then again, maybe we lose every game he goes to because the basketball God's are trying to tell him we need more talent? The draft might be perfect for him
Don't go to the draft alone. If you can find someone to go with you, it will be fun. Otherwise, you get more info. on TV. Obligatory NJ joke, especially since it's in Newark if I remember correctly:
In all honesty, I went to the 92' draft and was bored to death. It's obviously more fan friendly now, but I would just watch it on tv
Exactly. More comfort, better food, and the abilty to turn the channel during dead time (that last part could be my adhd talking though?
