If the blazers select Lillard #6 will you be thrilled, accepting, annoyed or pissed assuming Davis, Robinson, Beal, MKG and Barns have been selected in the top five.

For me, it all comes down to Drummond. I pray that he destroys Robinson in CHA's workout (tomorrow?), even though he didn't do well at the CLE one.

If Drummond gets picked anywhere in the Top 5, I think SAC takes Robinson and we get MKG. Which I'd be thrilled with.

But if our pick comes down to Drummond v. Lillard (or any of the other Tier Three guys), then I'll accept that that's just how the cookies crumbled. I better not hear that someone else jumped us in a trade with a package we could've beaten, though.

I voted other. It depends on who else is there. If the top 5 are who we think they are then I would be thrilled

Sorry, I didn't read the first post. Change my vote to thrilled

I will be thrilled because I believe it will say that they thought Drummond was just too risky and the Lillard was the real deal and we have a quick PG who can shoot strait.

This all changes if they pass on Robinson to take Lillard though (which won't happen).

I see his ceiling as Mo Williams and I was hoping to get Dragic. John Henson makes so much more sense: we need a shot-blocking big and defense in general much more than we need a shoot-first rookie PG.

I would prefer Lillard to Barnes or Drummond, though, but that's not saying much. Enough to make my vote "annoyed" rather than "pissed". But if we took Lillard while (by some miracle) Kidd-Gilchrist was still available, my vote would be "fucking livid".

Of course, if we take Lillard and then turn around and trade him for somebody good, my mood would improve.

    Other: Ambivalent ...

With any of the guys aside from Davis and Robinson I think there's a whole lot of "show me" left to see. I'll root for him, but short, shoot first 2 guards with low assist percentages don't have the best track record in the NBA. But fuck it, what the hell do I know? :dunno:

If ambivalence is your attitude on drafting Lillard... Then you know what I'd expect the average diehard to know.

    That ain't a knock. That's respect, FYI.

I'd be annoyed. I don't have any faith that he's going to be a good value at the sixth spot.

John Henson. Interesting to say the least. 6'11" and 215 lbs. I can't disagree that we need better defense, because we need .........well everything. But I am not sure a back up 4 is the most pressing thing we need filled right now.

Other. Because there do not, aside from the consensus #1 pick, appear to be any "can't miss" prospects in this year's draft. A lot of good, but no one will know until they play a year or so in the NBA. So unless the Blazers pull off some kind of miracle deal, I'll note it down in my draft spreadsheet, cheer for the guy(s) and hope for the best.

    Annoyed....

There is a clear group of players in Beal, Barnes, MKG and Robinson....that are projected to go #2-#5....and after that IMO there is a drop off w\POR sitting at #6 they need to find a way to get a hold of ONE of those 4 players...at almost all costs I would say....

At #6 there is just a lot more question marks surrounding players available...and I would rather see POR take a risk on better known prospects, who seemed to have a defined position....Drummond (C), Waiters (SG), Rivers (SG) or Lamb (SG) than Lillard, an older scoring guard from a small conference....
