A lot of the things I've been reading about Drummond's motor, ability, physical prowess, potential, etc..... It's been a while now, I admit, so maybe I'm remembering incorrectly..... but I remember feeling the same when we reading about Amare Stoudamire leading up to his draft (Portland was rumored to be very intrigued with him and were trying to move up to get him). I remember he had a solid rookie year, and even though he looked raw and needed to improve, he did well solely based on his youth, energy, and physical abilities. I remember thinking that if he worked on his game, he would be a great. Not saying Drummond will turn out the same. But how Amare started out is what excites me about Drummond.
An alpha dog is something you are or aren't, if are not one from the start you will never be. The biggest knocks on PJ3 and Drummond are their lack of assertiveness. An alpha dog is like a Thomas Robinson or a MKG, there are others in this draft but are the easiest examples, they will take their teams by the horns do whatever it takes to win.
David Locke: Very interesting debate going on in this draft John Henson, Myers Leonard or Tyler Zeller? Who do you like 1 minute ago YIKES! Don't people have anything better to do with their time?
Sorry, just don't see it at all. Drummond has virtually no offensive game at all. He's much closer to Oden actually. Great size and speed but not very coordinated at all. He is truly a project and the best case scenario is Andrew Bynum in 4-5 years. Worst case scenario is Hasheem Thabeet. Would not mind Drummond at 11, but 6 is way too high for that kind of project.
Chad Ford @chadfordinsider Per @ESPNAndyKatz, Jared Sullinger wasn't invited to the NBA Green Room. NBA usually invites top 10-15 prospects.

Joel's college averages 14.2 ppg 8.4 rpg 3.9 bpg FG% 61.3 Tyler Zeller 16.3 ppg 9.6 rpg 1.5 bpg 55.3 FG%
Reminds me of when we reached for Martell becuase we were coming off years of poor SG play. Just because we have a hole at PG doesn't mean we should use an early draft pick on one. Draft the best player available.
These meds are awesome. Everyone is so much more agreeable with a man that is not so bat shit crazy....Who knew?
The really great/scary/intriguing thing about Lillard is that so many scouts have him projected so many different ways. Most everyone thought Martell would be a bleh player
Besides - that was an easy one. Nobody would have disagreed. 3 tall stiffs - you always go for the one with the most "black" in him.
