Nolan D. Smith @NdotSmitty @BlazerFreeman please note, pics were also made before injury flag on my guy sully
Well, thank you for explaining your opinion. I am still of the belief that none of these guys are ever going to be as wonderfull as they are projected to be. I would rather have someone that can get me 16, 4 and 4 as we start the season. Not maybe two or thre years from now. The one thing i do know, it wont be a black or white thing, but some shade of grey, if we do draft one of those meh guards, I hope you are right.

The Zeller comments I found the most interesting, heard yesterday Jerry West really likes him, sounds like he might go top 10?
He does have some limitations (shot blocking, non-elite lateral movement), but the guy pulled down 10 boards/game playing next to Henson, scored a bunch of points on a high percent, runs the court like a big deer, has good hands and shoots softly. I think I still would rather take Drummond or Leonard, but Zeller is talented and someone is going to get a solid, ready-to-play center.
I've come to the conclusion that I want Lillard and Ross at the end of the day on Thursday. I'd also be very happy with Lillard and Zeller.
That was apparent in his passing highlight film for sure. If he played with better talent, his assists per game would have skyrocketed. And then we wouldn't even be talking about him at #6 because he'd be going at #2 or 3. I imagine that film with the recipient of those passes being a Batum shooting in rhythm, a Matthews catching and driving, a LaMarcus with the zero-second post-up and spin, Babbitt from half court... we have a lot of guys who can shoot if they get the ball at the right time. Felton and Crawford did not pass "in rhythm" well (if at all in Crawford's case), and we suffered for it. A run and gun lineup with threats outside and in will give him a target-rich environment, as they say.
Don't care as much about the 3, we need a take it to the rack, break you off the dribble scorer. Evans exemplifies that.
It's hard to think of LMA in a non-Nate offense, but a guard without a 3-point shot would give the opponent a free double-team on LMA in many situations.
How about a guard with all three traits? Bayless shot 42% from three last year and is a rfa. Plus you could get.him without giving up picks
Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress If Kings fans didn't need another reason not to jump off a cliff, there's lots of chatter Sac is considering passing on Barnes for Lillard.
From Ken Berger: After Anthony Davis goes to New Orleans with the No. 1 pick, the next four picks, in some order, will be Thomas Robinson, Bradley Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Harrison Barnes, sources say. The draft really begins with the sixth pick, with strong indications in recent days that the Trail Blazers would take Damian Lillard of Weber State. But in the past 24 hours, two other names have surfaced with respect to Portland: Dion Waiters and Austin Rivers. That could be an indication that Portland is considering trading the pick.
Or it could mean that Olshey is getting a little worried that everyone knows he wants Lillard so he's feeding the rumor mill to keep GM's guessing.
That too. I find it interesting that Olshey is said to be super tight-lipped. Even all the workouts.... we only know via agents - he's kept the roster of players working out completely quiet until the workout begins practically. Yet, all we hear is about our interest in Lillard. So, are we really that interested in Lillard? Or is he the guy we've put out there, but we're looking elsewhere?

Why would it be an indication of moving the pick? This team needs scorers and our SG depth right now is pitiful. If anything, I think it's an indication we're keeping this pick. Chad Ford says that Neil will keep this pick but is shopping the #11.
