He was so tired from shooting free throws, how is supposed to play D?

Never said they were " concerning" at all, said they weren't elite, and I like Lillard and have never "hated" on him as some like to term things. In reviewing the draft express combine testing numbers on Draftexpress for PG's and their various testing scores I have come to the conclusion they are pretty useless in gauging a prospect. Some of the guys who had the all-time best numbers in sprint/agility were never any good at all. Lillard had good/solid mumbers, easily good enough to forget them and judge him on his skills WITH the basketball in hands in a game situation. I'd be very happy with Lillard as a Blazer. Did his numbers show "elite" athleticism? frankly that's semantics and matter little in judging him IMO as I just explained. So I'll withdraw my question to MM and move on, lesst than 48 hrs to go - can't wait!

It's my personal opinion that some of us on this board should start trying to find something to get excited about with Damian Lillard

Mornin MM, still on the Meds? (had to ask), I'm taking it you think we are very likely drafting Lillard with our 6 pick? If we do make a move and get the #4 or #2 do you think it's to assure we get Lillard or to go after someone else?

For at least two more weeks. Thanks for asking, BTW. I really hope I can continue them. One of the parents on my football team asked if I was doing something different, so I realize it was a problem. But as policy, I made his kid do gut busters after practice for a parent interrupting practice. No exceptions, parents.....tsk tsk

Just a hunch, people smarter than me and all that. (which doesn't really narrow it down)

That about sums it up RT @Aykis16: Charlotte Bobcats seriously considering drafting Thomisson Kidd-Bealchrist with the #2 pick.

Sacramento at No. 5 and Toronto at No. 8. Those are the picks still generating the most trade chatter on the eve of the NBA Draft

If @JayBilas, @GottliebShow, @franfraschilla and I were making all the picks, our Mock Draft would look like this:

    Bilas

    6. Portland Trail Blazers
The pick: Harrison Barnes, North Carolina Tar Heels

Barnes is a skilled and athletic shooter with maturity and terrific potential to be a better pro than a college player. He shoots it particularly well in the midrange, and his athleticism allows him to have an impact at both ends of the floor. He's a good pick for the Blazers here. --

    Frachilla
    11. Portland Trail Blazers
The pick: Jeremy Lamb, Connecticut Huskies

The Blazers have already gotten one talented wing player in this mock draft in Barnes, and here they land another young perimeter guy to surround All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge. Lamb can thank his dysfunctional UConn team for causing him to drop this far in the draft, but Portland will be glad that he's available. He has shown he can shoot the deep ball, but it is his 60 percent shooting inside the arc that impresses me most. It proves that he can also score at the rim and in the mid-range. -- F.F.
