    In Jaynes article http://www.csnnw.com/pages/landingd...rkout-was-appare=1&blockID=730884&feedID=8351
    he states

The sources go on to gush...
    Source 1:
    Source 2:
    So...
Are these sources real? i.e. actually inside the blazers organization?

HCP has said a couple of times that releasing this type of info would get him fired. So, was the release of this info with the permission of Olshey?

Why would Olshey or anyone inside the blazers organization want this info public? Are they trying to prepare the fans for what just a couple of weeks ago would have been a reach? Or, are they trying to get other teams interested in Lillard because their real target is someone else (i.e. Harrison Barnes). Maybe they're trying to increase the value of the #6 pick for trade purposes?

It's confusing because on the surface, giving away this type of info is terrible.

Canzano and Jaynes have now disclosed their 2 sources that Allen was selling the team. It was Kolde and the Hat Man. Their intent was to make Allen look good when he flat out denied the rumor.

All good questions. But it's so simple. All we have to do is divine it from what we know of Olshey: Is he the sort of man who would put the poison into his own cup or his enemies? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet because he would know that only a great fool would reach or what he is given. GMs are not great fools, so they clearly cannot choose the player in front of Olshey. But Olshey must know they are not great fools, so they can clearly not choose the player in front of them. Further, as everyone knows, Olshey comes from being a player agent, and player agents are all criminals, and are used to having people not trust them, and Olshey is not trusted by other GMs, so they can clearly not choose the player in front of Olshey. But Olshey must suspect they know his origin, so they can clearly not choose the player of front of them.

I wonder if Olshey has developed a tolerance to Iocane Powder?

I am sure that every team in the league has a file on each GM of what they have said or not said on each prospect throughout the is will be our first years (I know I would anyway) Since we really don't know how Olshey operates, this will be our first year of his file for us.

I was going to quote it too. Classic. And so relevant this time of year.

Maybe I will have to start going on a movie parody phase until the draft? It very well could be our good luck charm?

Oh no, it will be beautiful when it happens, you'll see. Then again I bombed with my game thread, so, who knows?

I gotta get up pretty early to beat the mediocre man (4:00 a.m. to be precise), not the least of which is due to the fact you live two hours into the future, so to speak.

What is the advantage of building up Lillard? So someone in the top 5 takes him? Giving us a shot at another player? Not a chance.

So that someone between 7-10 to takes him? Possibly but why would they choose Lillard as the smokescreen? The only reason would be if they wanted someone else at his position. Maybe they really do love Marshall and want to make sure he is there at 11. He is the only other PG out there. I think this is doubtful though. I think they simply like Lillard.

For such a relatively cheesy movie, it does have a bunch of great quotes.

Never saw the flick, I just thought the poster got literary.

What I miss by not going to movies.

Nah, not cheesy at all. Just one of the best satires in the last 30 years. William Goldman's script was amazing.
