I expect every one of you, if you ever go, to give a nice "Hey batter batter, sa-wing batter. He can't hit it, he can't hit it, he can't hit it, chant

I think baseball is boring and will never go to Hillsboro.

I'd rather see baseball in Lents or the close to the intersection of I-5 & I-205. Why the hell do I want to drive 40 minutes to Hillsboro for an "A" league game?

I heard Lents came close to getting a baseball team. First Beaverton, then Lents and out of no where Hillsboro . . . without knowing the politics, I guess Hillsboro was the only city that could pony up some money to get a team.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that Intel had something to do with this, at least via taxes, if not outright donations.

I live just short of 205. I would dread that commute even more than my current one.

If you get a job offer from intel, you relocate.

    It's all about the stock options . . .

Happy for Hillsboro's success at bringing baseball to town. Wish we could have done it in Beaverton

Intel, like most big companies on the west side, doesn't pay taxes.

They pay taxes through their employees, and as I said, also through donations.

Go back to watching sagebrush grow in LaBarge, or LuPine, or whatever it is.

Lents and Beaverton were close to getting a triple-A team. Hillsboro got a short-season single-A team.

It would have to be a ridiculously great offer to convince lady friend to sell her house.

I was going to respond to this, but then I thought, 'no, no, that would be just too easy'.
