    Let's say the draft goes

    Davis
    Beal
    Robinson
    Barnes
    Lillard/Drummond
    Blazers:MKG
Warriors: Trade Batum, acquire Drummond/Lillard OR "elite" SG (waiters?)
    Raptors:
    Pistons
    Hornets:
Blazers: Dependent on 7th pick, Ross, Meyers, Zeller

Not sure if I'd do it, really depends on what we think we can do with MKG/Batum in our lineup together.

    MKG/Drummond/Ross
    MKG/Lillard/Meyers
    MKG/Waiters/Meyers

    ??/Ross/MKG/Aldridge/Drummond

    Nolan/Wes/Babbitt or Claver/Freeland or Hickson/Joel

    Elliot.

Obviously, still a huge gap at PG and our backup SF options are rather poor, but they may be able to be addressed in FA.

No. I would play Batum at the two.

the logistics are tough b/c Nic has to agree to someone's deal BEFORE he's officially allowed to talk to anyone. And who's to say that he'll accept GSW's 10M/yr offer and some team offers him the max? then we're screwed, and GSW just took a guy for us that they may not want.

And honestly, I'd rather have Batum/MKG/Ross and either get Wroten late or get the best FA PG we can buy. Or both

Yes, the logistics would be fairly tough, but like I said, it really depends on what you think of a MKG/Batum wing pairing.

Like I said, I wouldn't necessarily do it, but I know some people are truly opposed to Batum at the 2. If some people feel they both MUST play the 3, we have an overlap at talent at 3, do we not? So how would we solve this problem? My suggestion was Batum for 7, but obviously a trade AFTER free agency would be much easier than what I have proposed.

Honestly, I'd love Waiters, MKG, Drummond - as I'm not big into white centers, but thats a pipe dream Drummond drops to 11.

Alright lets make this easier: What do you do with Batum if we draft MKG at 6? Better?

Start them both and bring Wesley off of the bench as the 6th man.

Immediately contact WAS and offer Wes and #11 (and possibly a 2013 or 2014 draft pick) to obtain the rights to TRob.

    TRob + MKG

    or

    TRob + Beal

    = Stole the 2012 Draft!

Issue is Batum has to want to play for GS.

Is Batum more valuable at 10 million than someone like Lillard or Soup Juggler on a rookie salary?
