While I am excited about Olshey, and think he will do a good job, I am also very nervous

Traded 2011 pick (Uncle Drew) for Mo Williams. I get that the owner was behind this, so I give him a pass

    Selected Al-Farouq Aminu #8
Traded a future protected 1st for Eric Bledsoe #18

I like Aminu, and I'm not really sure there was anyone better on the board (Hayward, George) Nothing earth shattering anyway. He is a good rebounding forward that just needs a bit of time

Bledsoe is decent for an 18th pick, but again, nothing special

I like Bledsoe at 18 and I would take another PG like him at 18 if he could do that for the Blazers.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he traded the #11 for Bledsoe given his production in the playoffs and obvious connection.

Would be a 'meh' type of move.

Ya, I have thought that as ell from time to time.

One thing it shows is that Olshey likes athletes. Aminu might have been the best athlete in the draft, and Bledsoe is a great athlete as well

We'll see how Olshey does today.

I think I would trade 11 for Bledsoe and be happy. I'm not sure either team would do that trade though. I'm sure Olshey is high on Beldsoe but I think it wouldn't look good if we traded for him from his former team. I would think the Clips wouldn't do this unless there is someone at 11 they really like.

Bledsoe is really not good. He had a nice playoffs, but that's all

If you watched Bledsoe in the playoffs and/or the end of the year and compare him to N.Smith which was drafted about the same place there is no comparison. Bledsoe has a chance to be a very good PG in the NBA and I really doubt Nolan has much of a chance.

I would love if some of the current Blazers had a nice playoffs. What the hell is wrong with having a good playoffs. I watched him in the regularly season and I also and thought he looked pretty good. Has a lot of potential IMO.

Maybe? I know his PER is pretty shitty, and he can't really shoot the 3 very well

It was also reported (true or not though?) that he likes players who were highly rated\touted in high school....

We will see if that plays out tonight....

    So glad I'm not Neil.

However, he's the man for the job.

DeAndre Jordan was a great pick in the second round.
