Patrick Ewing was always a great center, but could never get a win. Is he a top ten center All-Time, top 15? I consider him a Hall of Famer, but being a loser is tough.

I consider him a top 10 player of all time. He had alot of competition in his days so it was very hard for him to get up over the hump. He had to deal with Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Lakers....Theres no wonder he couldnt win. He was an absolute monster. I remember looking his statistics up about a week ago and he had like 12 consecutive 20 and 10 seasons. And in one of them, he got like 29 ppg, 12 rpg, and almost 4 blocks a game. That was when he was in his prime but that is still amazing. I would put him at top ten. At worst top 15.

I dont know about being a top 10 player of all time, but perhaps a top 10 center of all time. If going for top 10 players ever many would have a top 10 list of Jordan, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Olajuwon, Kareem, Karl Malone, David Robinson as far as the old school. If new school is added onto that, there is KG, Shaq which IMO have had better careers than Patrick. I would go top 20 at very best if it is for any player. If its just big men (4's and 5's) he would be top 15.

ewing was named one of the 50 greatest players of all time. if it wasn't for #23 he would have 2 rings at least. he played his heart out every night and it just isn't fair that a guy of his caliber doesn't have a ring and how people ignore his accomplishments because of that.

He could flop. the NBA might make a rule change that works against him (hey they did it for wilt.)I always feel sorry for PAT! just like many players of the 90's - he really deserved to get a ring i think top 101.wilt2russell3.Kareem 3.shaq4.hakeem5.moses malone6.willis reed7.d.rob8.tim duncan9.PAT EWEING

Everyone always says, "oh if it wasn't for MJ and the Bulls Ewing would win a ring", well what about 94 and 95? The Knicks were arguably at their strongest and they got beaten by the Rockets and Magic. If MJ wasn't around he still would've had to worry about the Celtics, Pistons, Lakers, Rockets, Jazz, Sonics, and Magic.

And in the West there were plenty of teams that also could've beaten the Knicks.
