Blazers getting bashed a little nationally for drafting a center that had a stress fracture in his foot and a sprained mcl
And all it cost was Presti's soul. I'm actually okay with this. He's not going to be as useful to him as the player everyone thought they would take, Jeffery Taylor. I guess they can groom him for when one of their big three finally realizes "what the fuck are we doing in Oklahoma? We can play anywhere we want - we're actually good!"
PJIII great insurance if they can't pay Ibaka....those two bigs with Collison and Perkins a great frontcourt combo. OKC made the right call given they didn't really 'need' anything anyways.
I'll get bashed for this - but don't really like PJ3 to OKC. He SWEARS he is a SF. Can't play Durant + Pj3 together if he refuses to believe he is a PF. He'll get very few minutes behind Durant (dude averages monster minutes) and if he is backup PF (they are keeping Ibaka, period) he will get maybe 10 mins there. Backup PG is a bigger issue for them, IMO.
Risk/Reward with Leonard at 11. He'd be a Top 3 pick without that concern. It's why he was available.
He had his stress fracture in 2010 in HS. Didn't miss a game at Illinois due to injury. No need to lie.
