Apparently. Might depend on whether Steve Nash agrees to go there. Remember when we all wanted him? Well, some of us. Still absurdly efficient. Still can't play a lick of defense.

He'd be a highly over-qualified backup, but if he could accept a reduced role and having to split time with a designated heir apparent high lotto pick then I'd like him at a reasonable salary.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
It would be funny if they kept Calderon and signed Nash. 30 minutes of Nash, 18 minutes of poor man's Nash, every night.

Why amnesty a guy with one year left on his contract? Is Steve Nash worth more than Calderon at the trade deadline going to a playoff contender for some draft picks?

Imitating Nash will rub the rough edges off Bayless, and make him the next Steve Nash.

Not a good fit for our current team, IMO. Lillard needs a vet in front of him that can show him the nuances of the position, and IMO, Calderon is not that guy. I also don't think he would want to come here for 20 minutes a game
