Freeland always looks gassed. Maybe because it's in Houston and they might not have good air conditioning. Good steal and dunk, though.
They don't play JV all that much, do they?
Lithuania win by 10 but it was closer than that makes it look. And GB STILL don't have Deng. What's the point in having practice games without him when they run everything through him when he plays?

JJ Hickson would already have 20/10!

Hickson will make around 6 to 7m a year freeland will get 3m is the main reason i'm assuming. Also Hickson is a bad defender both 1on1 and help. Dunno if Freeland is better but we'll see.

Yep. Cap space (now and/or in the future) with a side of tanking (iow developing the youngin's) for a lottery pick next year IF cap space doesn't get us to the promised land this year. I will also echo a bit of what Rhal said, in that although Hickson's energy and aggression was fun to watch, his deficiencies make him a career backup at best, and perhaps an overpaid one after his two month performance last season.

Just think of Freeland as a late first round draft pick and adjust expectations accordingly. We will play this season with the following rookies: Lillard, Leonard, Barton, Freeland, Claver. With E-Will, Smith and Babbitt, this is going to be one young team. Hello lottery? Blazers on line one. :)
