For the best im saying Southwest. Dallas and San Antonio among the best in the league, and the other 3 with really good chances at making the playoffs. The worst I have to go with the Atlantic... only one team with a .500 or better record
The Central Division is the best. The Pistons, Bulls, and Cavs can all be contenders, the Pacers are a probable playoff team, and the Milwaukee Bucks are vastly underrated most of the time.Worst is Atlantic too. Nets are great, but the Knicks, Sixers, Raptors and Celtics aren't great yet. Celtics and Raptors will be good soon, but they aren't helping the Atlantic Division get out of the cellar.
I gotta go with Southwest as the best division, no question. In the Southwest, every team but the Hornets have proven to be a playoff team if healthy. Furthermore, they've been completely dominant in the WCF in recent years.I guess I'd say Atlantic for the worst division... I don't think the Northwest is any good really, either.
Southwest and Atlantic. The Soutchwest would dominate the Central Division if they played. I may go with Pacific at #2 even though it's close.
The two best divisions would have to be the Southwest (Dallas, SA, Memphis, Houston and an improving NOH) and the Central (Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, Indiana and an improving Milwaukee). The two worst would have to be the Atlantic (but they are slowly improving... well, aside from the Sixers) and the Northwest.
Pacific is better than the Central? I don't agree at all. Pistons, Cavs and Bulls could all be contenders, then you have the solid Pacers and the young and improving Bucks.
Best- Southwest by FAR. Dallas and SA are 2 of the maybe 4 best teams in the league. Rockets when healthy are top 5 or so, Memphis is VERY tough, and Hornets are also gonna be very tough this upcoming season.Worst- Atlantic. In a few years when all of Celtics and Raptors youth start to mature, it will probably be Southeast or Northwest.

Pacers have just gotten worse and worse and they'd both be 10th in the West at best. The Bucks may make the playoffs but probably be below .500 like last years team. Pistons and Bulls are solid teams but I'd take the Suns and Clipps over them. Cavs are better than the Lakers I think and the Warriors are the worst of the bunch but the Kings should be pretty good too.
Am I the only one here that doesnt see the Bulls as a contender next year? Sure they are a good team, but i really dont think Ben Wallace is going to take this team from barley getting into the playoffs, to making the NBA finals
They are IMO. Last year they were really the closest team to beating the Heat. They already had fantastic D, but lacked a big man down low, which they ahd with Curry the year before. Ben Wallace is the perfect fit. Then you have Tyrus Thomas who is gonna be good, and just a very well rounded team. I don't think they will get to the Finals, but one more good scorer and they are set.
