Maybe if they would have beaten the Lakers when they made the Finals, but the only current Sixer that will have his jersey retired is Iverson, and maybe Iguodala.Any Idea why Miami's only retired jersey is a player that didn't even play for them?
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? They retired Jordan's jersey for the pure fact of what he brought to the NBA.
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? Toronto Raptors have 0 retired numbers.Future ones I'd say would be Alvin Williams, Mo Pete, Chris Bosh, TJ Ford, Bargnani. We'll have to see how many seasons those last few guys play in Toronto though..
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? Alvin Williams, definately not. Vince Carter has a better shot.Morris Peterson, probably not.The other three will depend on how long they last in Toronto, and if the injury bug doesn't bite them.

Alvin is almost a lock to get his jersey retired for us. All Raptor fans love Alvin. He played his heart out, and he hustled, and played hard every game. He was also the heart & soul of the Raptors in the early 21st century. He will get his jersey retired.Mo Pete has played here his whole career, and he hustles, takes charges, plays defense, shoots, drives, scores. He will probably play a couple or more years for us, and he will most likely get retired.
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? I know it's too early for this but Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony should all get their jerseys retired...Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant will be probably get theirs retired. Also, Alonzo Mourning and Gary Payton should get their jerseys retired. (Zo for the Heat and Payton probably for the Celtics)
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? Why would Payton get his jersey retired by the Celtics? He played one mediocre season for them. Do you mean the Sonics?

Somebody's ignorant....Alvin won't get his jersey retired. He wasn't good enough, and although fans liked him, he just didn't lead them to much. Once again, VC has a better shot. Retired Jerseys aren't given out like balloons at the fair. Morris Peterson has a better shot than Alvin too. But Mo just isn't good enough to have his retired either. Just because you play your whole career on one team doesn't mean you will get your jersey retired. Look at Austin Croshere (although now traded). He certainly won't have his jersey retired by Indy.
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? Payton won't be retired. Mostly because he's been with multiple teams since the turn of the century. Players that get retired are those that stick with one team like Pierce, Garnett, etc.

Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? I guarantee that the Sonics will retire Paytons jersey. Do you realize he's spent over a decade in Seattle, competing against the best of the best? It's stupid to think that Seattle wouldn't do that.
Re: Your Team's Retired Jerseys? I know Payton will easily get his jersey retired by Seattle. He played in Seattle in his prime and lead them to many winning seasons. No way Seattle won't retire his jersey. The Analyst already mentioned the Sixers retired jerseys no point in saying that. AI will definetly have his retired soon.
