Warriors front runners for J.J. Hickson

    He's barely a basketball player, but he did some good things for Cleveland while he was there. If he just keeps his offense simple and focuses on defense and rebounding he should be a good fit.

    I was hoping to see more from Jeremy Tyler, a pretty impressive athlete, but looks like he ain't getting it done or is still figuring out the game. He's also barely a basketball player.

    You know, I take that back. Hickson is just raw, he's got some good qualities. He's put the ball on the floor and shown a few good moves on offense and isn't afraid to go inside with the ball. Contrast that with Patrick O'Bryant who failed out of the league because he couldn't even put the ball on the floor to do a post move. Hickson probably needs to improve a lot of his fundamentals and especially defensively. There's a reason why Cleveland was that horrible and it wasn't just his teammates.

    I think if we keep it simple for him he'll be successful.

    Hickson won't be a superstar, but he has a good game and played extremely well for the Blazers. I think he's definitely a starting caliber SF.
