I'm into this series. Is it true the infection is airborne? Now that Rick's wife is pregnant I guess their baby will already be infected because its breathing the moms same air. Or this crazy idea from someone else.
We have to wait until October to find out. I'm glad that they finally left the Little House on the Prairie, though. Herschel and Dale were becoming tiresome. Kudos to whoever had them killed off in the script. Plus, the new chick with the armless zombies chain to her will be an interesting addition to the cast.
The building in the background at the end of season 2 looked like a prison or mental hospital. I'm guessing that's where the chick came from. Should be lots of fun!
I watched the first season and couldn't get into it. IMO none of the characters are even remotely likable.
The show is (IMO) very similar to Sons of Anarchy. Viewers keep coming back because they like the genre and are able to overlook poorly developed characters, sketchy writing and dialogue, and truly glacial pacing. If TWD stays (generally) with the script of the comics business isn't really going to pick up once they head over to the prison (highlight to read, semi-spoiler). Edit: Lori is one of the worst characters on television. Hopefully they make an effort to renovate her next season.
"The Walking Dead" has absolutely no plot. They need to stop this whole staying in one place for a whole season thing, too. Or at least make it somewhat exciting/entertaining. I'd hate this show if I wasn't into the post-apocalyptic zombie genre.
I liked the first season, but the second season was not strong. I hope the third season picks up the pace a bit or I'll probably stop watching.
So someone explain this to me... Everyone is already infected with the virus, so if you die you immediately turn into a zombie. But if a walker bites you, you.... become infected and turn into a zombie?
Zombie movies/shows, and all horror for that matter, annoy the shit out of me because of their lack of common sense. He was bit by a walker? I'll give him mouth to mouth! Zombies everywhere? I'll go for a walk by myself in the dark! And then there's Karl, who should have died in season 2 because he's the most annoying character in the history of television.
It's if you are bitten by a zombie and then have sever blood loss you die from the blood loss and then you become a zombie. I think that's what they are changing their answer to now. I don't remember if anyone was bitten and then had a fever and changed without severe blood loss.
