They will have Jonas come over this year, he would've been the #2 pick. Outside of him Toronto only has roll players though.

I don't a good reason to think they won't... it's pretty much expected.

Management can claim that they tried as they settle for lesser players and reupping their own. Free Agency discussions will morph into unbalanced trade possibilities. Teams looking to shed salary for the new CBA kicking in could make it interesting.

Does Nash simply walk in and fix all of the Knick's problems?

Nash and the Knicks are in the critical stages of discussions on a three-year deal worth between $27 million-$30 million to be executed through a sign-and-trade deal with the Suns. The Knicks would send rookie guard Iman Shumpert and two players – including Toney Douglas and Dan Gadzuric – to Phoenix for Nash, sources said. - Yahoo's Woj

Now if only D'antoni would have waited just a bit longer. He would have had his point guard. Schmuck

Shumpert and picks would be a nice package for PHX.

If i'm a Knicks fan i'm sick at the idea of giving up Shumpert. But i'd be sicker at the idea of having all this Star Power without any real chance of winning a championship.

Haven't seen a ton of Shumpert but he doesn't strike me as that big of a deal. Decent young prospect but I'd project his upside at being a good role player or decent starter.

If he's holding up a trade for a future HOFer that will bring your club a big step closer to contention, you're a f*cking simp.

Free agent center Spencer Hawes has reached agreement on a two-year, $13M-plus extension with Philadelphia, league sources tell Y! Sports.

That will make some people happy to know that we now won't be signing Hawes as Plan B.

I'm beginning to think Plan B will be to basically go into the season as-is. Not the worst thing in the world, but I will feel for LA if we end up stuck with Plan B.

Yeah, I'd have been happy with Hawes for that deal. Gives Leonard two years to develop, while still getting plenty of PT.

So... when Pacers match Hibbert, do we just throw Leonard out there and see if he floats?

Finally a reasonable contract! Hopefully this helps lower the market for Kaman and make Indiana realize they can spend their money smartly and be OK. Then we get Hibbert. Thank you Spencer Hawes!!

like someone said, 2/13M is a steal for a productive big. We're paying Wes more than that over the next 2 years.

Nic is gone. Say NO to Dragic. Lillard is better.

Not many C's remain on the market, and still a bit of demand....

Nic isn't gone yet. We're not going after Dragic. Dragic is better than Lillard, at least for now.

I don't get all the hate for Wes, the guy is a hustle player ment to compliment others. He can't create his own offense and was a streaky shooter. He needs a PG to create for him, we didn't have one of those last year. Under Miller he was great.
