Suns to sign Dragic for 4yr/$32M...

Not sure if this is mentioned in the other big Free Agent or other threads yet(don't have time to look through them) but Suns have agreed to offer Dragic 4yrs/$32M.

Seems like a very reasonable deal:

Does this set the bar for Batum?

 

I think Gallo did that last summer.

 

No. He'll probably make $8-10 million more.

 

We need to learn from the mistakes of the Nuggets, not repeat them. Gallo and Affalo were overapaid.

Lillard better pan out or this signing will haunt us.

 

I doubt this will haunt us. Dragic is a 3rd tier PG. He will never be an allstar in his career.

 

He's performed better as a starter then Batum.

 

which is why its not going to be a huge loss if we were to lose batum.

 

however, i still think he'll get paid more. if batum came at $8m a year, its about right for him i guess...but the market will dictate and when its a RFA, the price will be higher probably.

 

It doesn't hurt.
