No worries, Eric. We need to hold on to our cap space until Indy matches Hibbert

I think the Hibbert offer is our best case scenario, and due to fit and finish, I'd call it a home run if we get Hibbert, followed by additional signings to round out the cap, then either matching or S&T Batum. If not, I'm on record as saying no to '3rd tier' players and for us to punt, suck, and live to do the lottery and free agent/cap space dance another day.

I'm still stoked at the possibility that Paul/Olshey may retool on the fly in a very short time, but I will honestly support the team if they (1) hit that home run off seaseon or (2) bail out and rebuild. What I don't support is the path to mediocrity by taking on less than stellar players. Most of the time the best decisions are the trades or signings you don't make.

Indy matching Hibbert or not is out of Olshey's hands. Other teams offering Nico crazy $$ is out of Olshey's hands. I say again, if we don't get a home run, I'll support the team and Olshey if he punts and goes 'full rebuild'.

    One more week!
