I bet he goes back to his hometown if their pitch for Gordon fails.

Bayless couldn't have blown up Fields/Lowry deals by accepting QO. May signal another deal coming for Raps.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I wouldn't mind Bayless as the Blazers' shooting guard.

    Lillard
    Bayless
    Batum
    Aldridge
    Hibbert (with some luck)

would be a pretty interesting lineup with some upside. If no Hibbert...hell, throw Leonard in there. Let the kids play!

Not sure how many wins we would have, but Bayless and Liilard would probably be a really fun back court to watch

Bring back T-Rex! Nolan Smith is the poor man's Bayless, who is the poor man's Rex Chapman, who is the poor man's Vinnie Johnson!

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't expect a title contender, or even a strong playoff team, the next year or two. I'm happy to shuffle through players who have some intriguing qualities and see if any of them break out as Blazers. I'll take "fun to watch" in the meantime.

Kahn does understand that there's a salary cap and that there is only so much money to go around?

Interracial player comparison rules violation. Must replace Rex Chapman.

Bayless had a nice season last year on limited minutes (700 or so)but its the same story with him. You see inconsistent flashes when he's given a 1/2 option offensively in a starting lineup, but has shown little use to team outside of that. His effectiveness goes way down when he's asked to come off the bench or play a more limited role.

With Lillard now, Bayless makes little sense.

And they went 3-4 (.428) which is a better winning % than when he played fewer that 29 minutes which was only .348
